Shauna Carson (she/her/hers) is Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BCACC.
Shauna worked in social services for over 15 years. She has experience working with a wide variety of people, primarily with those who are neurodivergent. She endeavours to offer a safe, non-judgmental, collaborative, and compassionate space where her clients feel comfortable expressing their emotions. Shauna’s stance is trauma-informed and anti-oppressive, and she brings a gentle, grounding presence to her work. Some of the people she has worked with are struggling with ADHD, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and neurodiversity. Her holistic approach integrates mindfulness, self-compassion, solution-focused, ACT and existential therapies. As part of her career journey, Shauna is passionate about learning new interventions and skills.
