Joni Louie (she/her) works from a client-centered, relational, and mindfulness-based perspective. Having practiced and taught yoga and meditation for over two decades, she is often drawn to explore pain points through the breath, body, and mind-body connection. In her current practice she also includes tools from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Polyvagal Theory, and attachment-based and trauma-informed approaches.
Joni supports clients in cultivating greater self-compassion, healthier coping skills, emotional resilience, clarity on family and intimate relationship patterns, and other tools for navigating change. She is also committed to continually finding ways to provide holistic, culturally responsive, and neurodivergent-affirming care.
